Arup on board as a new lead partner

We are proud to announce Arup’s involvement with the Road User Charging conference as a lead partner. Arup offer a multitude of services, comprising of a network of consultants, engineers, designers and technical specialists, all working to make a change in the world. To date, Arup has played an important role in road infrastructure. One of its major projects has been working on devising a route for the High Speed 1, which made  the completion of  journeys from London to Paris, and vice versa,  possible in 2 hours and 15 minutes.  Arup is also currently involved with a four-phase project in America which is expected to extend though 2020.  By providing engineering and design services for their client, Metropolitan Transportation Authority in New York, Arup will play a crucial role in setting up the second avenue subway in Manhattan, which will present itself as the first new subway line to be introduced in nearly 80 years.

Arup will be sharing its extensive industry knowledge and experience at the conference as it collaborates with other speakers to produce two insightful sessions over the two days. On day one, Arup will speak about governance, risk and compliance for tolling operations. This session will touch upon the issues involved in project lifecycle, contracts and tolling operation procurement. On day two, Arup will partner up with BH Consulting to speak about cyber security.  They will discuss the challenges the road user charging industry faces in regards to cyber crime and how overcome them.

We look forward to hearing all from Arup and its colleagues in their session at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Brussels in March 2017.
