Biography

Péter Szatmári is Policy Officer in the Road Transport unit of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport. His main area of responsibility is the legislation on road charging.

 

Previously, Péter was involved in impact assessments and work on the internalisation of external costs in the field of transport at large. Before joining the European Commission almost 12 years ago, he worked at Johnson Controls Automotive Hungary for 4 years as a Logistics and Purchasing Engineer where he was involved in the production transfer of automotive parts from France to Hungary.
