Mrs Chapanova joined the road infrastructure agency in 2010 and provides Leadership, organization and coordination of the preparation, management, monitoring, reporting and commissioning of infrastructure projects financed by EU funds. Prior to this, Nikolina spent three years at the Ministry of Environment and Water, where she was responsible for the Preparation of legal opinions, legal advice and assistance of experts from the directorate, preparation of tender documents for works and services, as well as chairing committees for the selection of contractors, according to the European and Bulgarian legislation.

Toril Lie is Senior Advisor at the Road User Charging Section in the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. She is the project leader for implementing compulsory toll tag for heavy vehicles in Norway.

Previously she has worked with development projects in other parts of the Public Administration.

She holds a Cand. Polit. degree from The University of Oslo, an equivalent to a M.Sc. Her thesis was in the field of Information Technology and Administrative Systems.

Marije de Vreeze is manager of the ITS Netherlands program. Intelligent Transport Systems and Services (ITS) is the international collective term for the application of various technologies in relation to traffic and transport in order to make systems safer, more efficient, more reliable and more environment-friendly, without necessarily having to change the physical infrastructure.
Previously Marije worked as a Project Manager within Connekt (2007-2011), with a focus on standardizing information exchange in public transport, traffic and travel information and safety applications. And as a business consultant at InTraffic (2011-2013), a company that advises on and develops, manages and maintains mission critical information systems for mobility.
Marije has a Master of Science degree with distinction at Utrecht University, with a specialization in Science and Innovation Management.

Thomas Hallauer is Director of Marketing & Research of the PTOLEMUS Consulting Group, an international strategic advisory firm entirely focused on telematics and location-based-services (LBS).

Thomas Hallauer has gained 10 years of operational marketing experience in the domain of telematics and location-based services. He is an expert in new products and services notably in the automotive, motor insurance, navigation and positioning industries.

Thomas researched and co-wrote the UBI Global Study, the reference document for the telematics insurance market published in October 2013.
Thomas is also the co-author of the European Location Study, the most comprehensive report on the location business and technologies published in May 2010

Lithuanian Road Administration under the Ministry of Transport and Communications

 

P. Bautrėnashas joined Lithuanian Road Administration in 2011. As Engineer of Traffic Information and Management Division and ITS expert his major tasksare administration, maintenance and further development of National Road Traffic Information System, designed for automated collection, analysis and dissemination of traffic data, in order to inform road maintenance company employees and road users (drivers) about road and traffic conditions, traffic problems, ongoing road repairs, traffic control measures on national roads.
Being Master of Electrical Engineering, SQL, Java, Python and embedded C developer, open-source / open-hardware enthusiast and programmer-human-programmer interpreter,Pauliushas been involved in numerous ITS projects, solving problems in Lithuanian roads of national significance by deploying advanced information technologies, developing detail technical specifications, various tools, reports and web based applications for public and internal use.Paulius also has been consulting Lithuanian road maintenance specialists and inspectors, teaching and leading undergraduate final works at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.

Jennie joined ITS United Kingdom, the Intelligent Transport Society for the UK, in 1998.  Prior to that, she worked in the City Engineer’s Department at the Corporation of London, the local authority for the “Square Mile” financial district of London.  Jennie began her working life with the then British Rail in 1986.
Jennie has a BA (Hons) in History from Kings College London, and an MA from the UK’s Open University.  She wrote her MA thesis on the institutional framework of the introduction of camera technology for traffic applications in London.
She started with ITS (UK) as Membership Secretary, and was promoted to Secretary General in 2004.
Jennie chairs the Network of National ITS Associations, an organisation of 25 European ITS associations.
Jennie is originally from Sweden, but is now a happily naturalised Londoner.

Norbert Schindler completed his technical studies at Carnegie Mellon University in the USA (Bachelor of Science) and at the Vienna University of Technology (Master of Science). For more than 25 years, he has been working in the field of Information Technology. Norbert moved from the telecommunication industry to the domain of electronic toll collection twelve years ago he. He has lead technology projects in North America, East Asia, and in Central, Eastern, and South Europe. Ten years ago, he joined Siemens and is now Global Sales Manager at the Electronic Tolling Competence Center in Vienna, Austria.

Baki Kuran has 20 years of experience in ICT Infrastructure Planning and Development, ITS applications and Electronic Toll Collection System Design, Development and Deployment. His expertise includes Executive Management, Project Maintenance, Operation and Maintenance, Business Development focusing on ICT and ICT applications. Prior to joining to Vendeka he worked for several global ICT companies and operators starting from Field Engineer position up to CTO/CIO level. He is a shareholder and General Manager of Vendeka Information Technologies. Mr. Kuran graduated from Middle East Technical University in 1993 and holds B.Sc. Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
