Vinci Highways inaugurates 11km of SP-333

As the operator of 570km of highways in the Ribeirão Preto and Marília regions, Entrevias stated that the R$ 53.4m (c. £7.47m) investment included new lanes and hard shoulders.
The funding also enabled the update of vertical and horizontal signage to improve traffic flow, comfort, and safety for drivers.
In 2018, Entrevias doubled 8.6km of SP-333 (from km 314.4 to km 323) on a stretch that receives heavy urban traffic in Marília.
In November 2021, another 19km of highway were expanded between Júlio Mesquita and Marília, from km 295 to 314, with two new devices.
In December 2023, the company inaugurated its largest section of duplication to date, with 64km and 14 devices, between Marília and Assis.
In early 2024, 6.5km of duplication were delivered between km 444.5 and 450.9, in Florínea, with another 11km between km 411 and 422, between Assis and Tarumã.
With the inauguration of this section, Entrevias has now reportedly delivered more than 100km of duplication of SP-333.
Governor of São Paulo Tarcísio de Freitas said: “This project is yet another demonstration of our commitment to delivering infrastructure that improves people’s lives.
“The duplication of SP-333 brings safety, reduces accidents, and facilitates the flow of production, in addition to generating jobs and income.
“We are modernising the state’s road network with the largest construction program in the history of São Paulo, ensuring development, dignity, and more opportunities for all.”
