Biography

 

Blair Thompson is the Director of the Australian Government’s National Heavy Vehicle Charging Pilot (National Pilot) – an innovative industry partnership testing potential direct user charging options for heavy vehicles through a series of On-Road Trials across Australia.

Blair has degrees in Economics and Arts as well as a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy.  He has more than twenty years of experience in delivering policy and engagement programs at state, territory and federal government levels, as well as the private sector.

Blair’s focus is to deliver advice to government on road user charging that takes account of the real‑life experience of industry.
