Massimiliano Salini MEP

Member of the European Parliament

European Parliament

I was born in Soresina on March 11, 1973. I studied at the University of Milan, where I graduated in Law. After the university, from 1998 to 2000, I worked in the staff of the President of the Regional Council of Lombardy, where I dealt with regional policies related to economic and productive activities. Then, from 2000, I started my activity as a project manager at the company “Faber Srl”. Since 2006, I have also worked in former public companies, firstly as vice president of Cremasca Servizi SpA, and then, since November 2007, as director of Linea Group Holding and director of Linea Ambiente SpA.

In April 2009 I won the elections for the presidency of the Province of Cremona at the first round, as an independent supported by a coalition of centre-right. In 2014, I was elected at the European Parliament in the Italian North-West College within the Italian delegation of Forza Italia, part of the European People’s Party. I am currently a member of the “Transport and tourism” and “Industry, research and energy” committees.
