Biography

Scot Urada is responsible for the receipt, application, obligation and expenditure of $175 million in federal highway funds for Hawaii DOT annually. He provides financial oversight, drafts and recommends procedures and policies in the areas of finance, program and project implementation, and subrecipient oversight. In the RUC arena, he currently serves as a Hawaii’s RUC West Steering Committee representative and is the project manager for Hawaii’s Road Usage Charge Demonstration project (HiRUC). He graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Civil Engineering and has 15 years of design, 6 years of construction, 10 years of transportation financing, and 2 years of environmental engineering experience.
