Fearghal King is the project manager for the mobility pricing file at TransLink, which is the Regional Transportation Authority in Metro Vancouver, Canada. Fearghal has a background in economics and planning, with a PhD from University College Dublin. Fearghal was part of the Secretariat for the Mobility Pricing Independent Commission in Vancouver in 2017/2018. He continues to manage the next phase of this work at TransLink, including developing the framework for mobility pricing in the long-range regional transportation strategy known as Transport 2050. Fearghal is also working to promote equity as part of the system design of any pricing system and has recently begun collaborating with the City of Vancouver who will soon be undertaking a feasibility study of a localised Road User Fee.
