Speakers

Wouter van Haaften has a legal background and has operated at the interface of policy and legislation on the one hand, and operations and ICT on the other, throughout his professional life. Since 2007, he has been an independent consultant/researcher in these fields. As a senior researcher, he is affiliated with the Leibniz Centre for Law at the University of Amsterdam, where he studies legal developments in road user charging and C-ITS, with a particular focus on data ownership and data protection. He is an associated partner at Hooghiemstra, a legal advisory firm in the Hague.
